MilkCrate is proud to announce our newest partnership with the Douty Foundation.

This relationship will begin by offering fully funded apps in 2019 as well as creating a waitlist for 2020 for other interested nonprofits looking for a mobile engagement solution.

For those of you not familiar with MilkCrate's work in the nonprofit world, MilkCrate empowers nonprofits to take their traditionally offline programs online through an affordable mobile app and modern backend tool that more deeply engages program participants, eliminates paper-intensive administrative overhead, and allows for real time impact reports for donors and program stakeholders. You can learn more at www.milkcrate.tech.

The mission of the Douty Foundation is to support grassroots organizations and movements in making social change in their communities with an emphasis on children & youth. Since 1968, the Douty Foundation has provided funding to organizations working to foster equitable opportunities for children and youth in Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania.

By providing their grantees access to MilkCrate app technology, Jennifer Leith, the Executive Director of the Douty Foundation, is excited to “help organizations build internal and external capacity” with their app so that they can eventually grow and receive funding from larger institutions.

From the Douty Foundation's Executive Director, Jennifer Leith:

We are excited to partner with MilkCrate and offer this session to our grantees. We recognize that nonprofits are always on the look-out for capacity building support. This session is an opportunity to learn about the integration of app technology to build internal and external capacity. As a part of this event, Douty is committed to funding three nonprofits to build a MilkCrate app in 2019-2020 with the hope to explore future additional nonprofit app sponsorship if there is interest and demand.

From MilkCrate’s CEO, Morgan Berman:

MilkCrate is thrilled to partner with the Douty Foundation for this exclusive grantee event and looks forward to meeting new local nonprofits, answering questions about mobile technology, impact tracking, and program participant engagement. These are what we do best, and are excited to be able to offer these services at low or no cost to this select group. Feel free to reach out to me ahead of the workshop at morgan@milkcrate.tech and we look forward to seeing you there.

In order to make our mobile technology even more affordable than it already is, MilkCrate is partnering with foundations like the Douty Foundation and others to fully fund the initial investment for an app for a nonprofit's program management and tracking. MilkCrate is continuously looking for new partners, if you believe your organization could be a good partner for MilkCrate and our nonprofit customers we’d love to hear from you! If your organization is interested in partnering with MilkCrate in a similar capacity please feel free to contact morgan@milkcrate.tech.
