Free Tech Tools For Nonprofits

For a nonprofit to be successful, what does it need? Staff, resources, volunteers. According to Volunteerhub, 55% of nonprofits run off of volunteers, but there are more ways to help add capacity to your nonprofit than just more people. Technology can play a multiplying effect on your operations’ efficiency and efficacy when done right. Technology has made it easier to expand nonprofits' reach to intended audiences and also allowed nonprofits to better market their products and services to the world. Here you will find a list we have compiled of the best free tech tools for nonprofits. This list of tools is organized into three categories: Content, Teams, and Security.

Free Nonprofit Tools For Content

Getting your content out there to your community is important. Whether they are updates about what is going on next in your organization, notifying volunteers about upcoming events, or making some great valuable content like blog posts and newsletters for your volunteers to read. You should take pride in making these things happen consistently and eye-catching to your community. Down below is a great list of tools that we believe are amazing tech tools for nonprofits!

Canva - With over 30 million monthly active users across 190 countries according to CNBC News, Canva is one of the most popular content creating tools out there today. From thousands of templates to choose from, you can make content for any platform. Whether it's Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or YouTube, Canva already has the correct dimensions you need to make your content. Once you are finished, simply save and download your design to your computer and begin posting or sharing it.
